Las Vegas West

IAE Las Vegas Sahara is conveniently located just minutes from the world-famous Las Vegas Strip at the instersection of West Sahara Avenue and Richfield Avenue. A bus stop is easily accessible in front of the school to connect students with Las Vegas’ main source of public transportation. In addition, dormitory-style student housing is available within walking distance of the school.

IAE Las Vegas Sahara offers English classes every Monday through Thursday. Students attend class for 5 hours each day. Morning sessions: 9:00AM – 2:00PM.

William Doyle

Site Director

William is from Dublin, Ireland. Having taught English as a second language in Brazil for twelve years, Bill moved to the USA in 2013. William was an Official University of Cambridge Speaking Examiner for over five years and has obtained several TESOL certificates. He has been the Site Director at Las Vegas Academy of English since 2013. William is an avid sports fan (Manchester United and Buffalo Bills) with a soft spot for the San Francisco 49ers, he also enjoys writing songs, reading, playing the guitar, and loves spending time with his family.

Loretta Dutt

Academic Site Director

Loretta, the Academic Site Director at the Las Vegas West Campus and High Intermediate class instructor, loves teaching IAE students! She has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communication as well as a Master of Arts Degree in Teaching English as a Second Language, which she earned at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 1995. She has taught ESL at the intensive English institutes at the University of Illinois and Ohio University and EFL in Madrid, Spain. She was also a reading/writing tutor for native English speakers at the St. Louis Community College. Her focus is making sure students at IAE, where she has taught since 2008, improve their English in a friendly and supportive environment. Born in the Chicago area, she now calls the amazing community of Las Vegas home and lives here with her wonderful husband, Timothy, a native Las Vegan.

Monique Manning

Student Services/Administrative Assistant

Monique moved to Las Vegas, Nevada, from Gilbert, Arizona. She studied Business Management at the College of Southern Nevada. In her fretime, Monique loves to spend time with her son. She also enjoys traveling, watching sports, and hanging out with friends.

Loretta Dutt

Andrea M Rosales

Having taught English as a second language since 2004 , Andrea has consistently
added value to her teaching career. Her experiences have determined that it is
useful to know how the human brain functions during the process of language
acquisition in order to provide students with a better teaching methodology. She has excelled needs and expectations by bringing into the classroom what she has learned while earning her BA in Psychology. After acquiring her CPE from Cambridge and teaching English in South America, Andrea decided to come to Las Vegas to further her qualifications by setting out to obtain the TESOL certificates. After a few short months, she decided to stay and teach English in North America.

Tom Jordan

Tom is from San Francisco, California, and most recently worked in Vietnam for 11 years. He is skilled in IELTS preparation and English for Academic Purposes. Tom has worked for leading universities and English language centers in Ho Chi Minh City and is a talented proofreader. In his spare time, he enjoys the sport of rowing and loves Vietnam’s al fresco culture.

David Harrington

David lived and taught in Japan for nearly 30 years. He moved with his family to fabulous Las Vegas in 2010 to focus more on his writing. David has written 14 textbooks for students of English as a second language, including Discover Debate, Speaking of Speech, and Discover the News. David has a degree in Economics from 上智大学 (Jochi Daigaku/Sophia University) in Tokyo. While in Japan David taught English, business, and economics at Tamagawa University, Tokai University, Ferris Women’s University, and Show a Women’s University. David was a commissioning editor for Macmillan Education. He has been a frequent speaker at TESOL conferences and other teacher conferences in Korea, Japan, and Taiwan. When he can find free time, he loves to travel and has been to more than 20 countries and is looking forward to visiting even more.
